there was very brief interest in this when tfc was still pretty strong.

I tried it out but iirc was a bit weird and betaish. And no player base, so everyone just stayed with tfc

I had a jump around in-game when it came out then realised it was terrible and this was why I was the only one jumping around

yeah word thats how I recall. I really enjoyed the change when I played with newt, dl and co at the nelson lan. But it was betaish.
But it probably got patched a bit, and we're all mad sick of tfc, and it seems many of u tf2. I was thinking we could smash it up for a couple of giggles.
Mostly cause q3 is basically free (it accepts any cd key u put in).
Kinda like we did with ff, but less so.

Just fire up a server, use frios pug bot and smash up some newb pugs.

Not as a credible alternative to ur main fortress/game. Somethin to jam on as a community for a cheap easy laugh.

why not just play ql ctf theres tourneys going and lots of clans could use more tho

i also gave it a go, no player base as he said, and the over all feel of it was pretty shit, but as zee said it was during the beta stages.

Dont be silly there aren't even NZ QL servers. Theres an AUS community with NZ players. Like theres an AUS TF2 community with NZ players.
