22"+ LCD that support native 75Hz+

Want to have a reference list of 22"+ LCD monitors that actually support 75Hz at native resolution since they tend not to state what the actual max native refresh rate is

120hz
Samsung 2233rz 22"
Viewsonic VX2265wm 22"
Alienware OptX™ AW2310 23"

75hz
Dell UltraSharp 2209WA
Gateway HD2201
HP W2207
LG L227WTG
NEC AccuSync LCD224WXM

i remember reading one is true 120Hz on all resolutions where the other is 120Hz on native only.
and the odd colour/contrast ratio difference...but really if your getting 120Hz your buying it for that reason only. acer bringing out a 24" 1080p 120Hz monitor soon...remember someone linking it somewhere

imo 1680x1050 is good for native/gaming res, not really that fussed on 1920 on pc cause i have an HD tv though i can see it being attractive for those who use pc screen for high def movies etc

so does the samsung if you pay the extra $250ish (iirc). i'd rather just have 120hz 2d seeing as it's actually 60hz in 3d (60 for each eye)

agreed..from the competitive side of me.
but for like single player games 3d would be sick...even minus the 60Hz

dunno about tf2 tho, would be wierd...would it be harder to aim?...or easier? anyone experienced it?

It's only for games that support 3d so not sure about TF2 but I can imagine playing in 3D would give me motion sickness...i'd also say the 2x60Hz would still be twice as good as 2D 60Hz

I also see nvidia are really pushing for the 3D and their next line of cards are going to support triple monitor 3d surround video.

I was reading up on the differences between the Samsung and Viewsonic and seems the Viewsonic is the better value since it's cheaper. Contemplating buying one this week mainly because it's the only > 60Hz screen I have access to for a good price.

They will replace the LCD if you get even 1 dead pixel within 6 months - apparently.

yeah 0 dead pixel warranty means if ANY pixels stop working you get it replaced/repaired under warranty. something with a 2pixel dead warranty means it needs to have 2 dead pixels before they will replace it

Um, my Viewsonic retailer has a dead pixel rma guarantee, not that i've ever had any issues with the countless ones i've bought and sold. Mind you, any good dealer will let you take it back, another reason to stay away from el cheapo stealers and stick to reputable dealers that have good service.
