Requesting Input

Hey, whilst I'm working on the current tournaments and other higher priority things on my to do list, Im currently open to putting other guides or tips people want to share with the NZF community.

How can you help?
Do you know anything you feel some of the younger generation can learn from? It could range from How to play certain classes? Frag video guides? Server setting guides? etc

If you're interested in helping in anyway, give me a yell over steam or PM.

YOU MUST RECOVER

Just a quick question, what ever happened to this? Looked like there was a lot of potential, and I was hoping to see some in depth game dynamics and discussion in higher level play (so the sorta stuff that you usually don't see in most guides, where they only talk about how to roll out and what not. Anyone with google can find that general stuff).

By ingame dynamics I mean stuff like, what you should be thinking while fighting for mid point, area control with rockets and sticky spam and how to imrpove team communication etc.

admin stuff is usually overlooked quite a bit. eg. something about how to manage a clan might help new clans stay together longer.

1) don't disband when you don't win any games in your first 2 weeks
2) don't disband and reform with 4 of the same 6 people
3) don't start a clan if you have no intention of organising games
4) don't start a clan with people who play tf2 once a month

Anyone who is keen to write an article - and we'll help - please start writing one up! Just get some content together; stuff you're good at, stuff you think you can help others with, stuff newbies might like to know, example strats for clan games... whatever you want to write about, just write it . We'll do a collection on these sometime soon, and we'd really, really appreciate anything anyone writes!

imo if people arn't going to bother to check steam/forums or tell you when they will or will not be available then there's really not a whole lot of point starting a clan with them, if they're just going to wear the tag and pubhero it's going to be a waste of your time

I will sit down at some point and do a proper pyro write up (the last one was done at 3am and poorly worded, it was also aimed at combating the pyro not how to play one).

There has definitely been an increase in M2 pyros over the last few months and i often get the "F**K YOU RAMBO ITS ALL YOUR FAULTZ~!#!!@$" so i would be more than happy to do another one.

Yeah I dont think any basic guides are required, theres plenty of them floating around the internet. What would be cool is some more complex write ups, stuff you wont really find others writing about, unique to NZF

It wouldn't be a basic guide as such, in fact more a write up on how to make a pyro viable in team situations (6v6). While I agree there are plenty of basic guides(W+m1 etc) around there are not so many outlining the situations, benefits and disadvantages of running a pyro in match/pugs.

I used to be aye, I'm used to playing against a pyro like yourself now ! When I first started inviting you to pugs, I regretted it all the time but now I enjoy it

Yea, in pugs I pyro much more than i should just for lulz, I think a good write up on the do and don't of using pyro as a util would help some players become more versatile when playing matchs.

I have noticed a few people in pubs recently playing pyro in a similar fashion I do (a few that would give me a run for my money even ) and its good to see them steering away from the W+M1 that the class is notoriously known for.

That'd be brilliant Rambo. We'd still exercise a small degree of editorial control, so we'll proofread it and all that before it gets published (it'll still be your post though ). I'd give MUCH LOVE for that!
