Fx reviews single player games of the last few years

so in light of my heavy wow addiction and even after finally getting bored of wow last year having a shitty computer that couldn't actually play many games there are many decent games of the past few years that i never got around to playing, now that i have a decent video card i can do this.

I will review these for you as I need somewhere to rant.

recently finished Red faction : Guerrilla, for a game i thought was an addon to RF1/RF2 as i hadn't heard about a 3rd game in the series it turned out to be pretty awesome and currently working through borderlands and just cause 2



soon on the list = bioshock1 (ok im sorry i got like 80% of the way thru and lost my savegame!)

feel free to recommend games as tbh post 2006 i didn't play many single player games

PROPER REVIEWS (or at least screenshots and ranting) to follow in due course.

edit: i have a ps2 a ps3 a wii a psp and a pc so this will probably end up being cross platform :p (i actually have a 360 aswell but thats chillin in AU)

I personally found portals probably one of the best single player games, along with SUPER MARIO and POKEMON.

Playing the new pokemon on the DS, its surprising a soild rpg title. Also batshit fun with cheats, able to catch trainers pokemon, dress up as teamrocket and raise some hell then take your crazyed pokemon online on the world ladder is cool. (playing the jap version so its a little hard to work out whats going on sometimes lol)

Also recommend you try Super Mario galaxy on the wii, its very solid and the 2nd installment is coming out soon, easy one of the best platformers of all time.

If your looking for PC games, try spellforce 2 + expansion, its a hard game, I never could finish it but its rather well done and interesting. Could also fire up open TTD, a free downloable game. (HoN is good too, which is in open beta)

I remember enjoying gold (never got silver), but not as much as I enjoyed red and blue. It is a bit of a toss up though, Im more into the retro/classic stuff so red/blue for me

They have remade blue and red in the new heart gold/sliver soul games. All the pokemon and places (I think) are there (can confirm all the new pokemon are not in the game, unless you trade them). Already caught myself a bulbasaure, chameon and warturtle lol. Even with my cheats, I am finding it impossible to kill the "exotic dancers" with all there dam EVEEVE. Its not easy like the other ones.

Pokemon Heartgold and pokemon Sliversoul both have red and blue installed on them and when you finish the Gold or sliver story line (actually my fav, I feel it was a little deeper then blues and reds) Your able to take the train or boat over there and experience it with all the upgraded features. I've got Bulba, charmanada and blastorise. So epic however I just can't remember what to do to find teamrocket!
