Forgot Password
Yo.
So my absence from the forums can be partly explained by my forgetting my username and password. I've tried requesting a reset two or three times and I watched all my email folders for a reply, but I received nothing. ![]() Might be a fluke, but can someone check it out please? PS. Finally got in thanks to trial and error

I've also requested a password reset a few times and received no email. I can only log in on one browser on one computer because it had the details saved.

Hmmm, not in the list. I think it might just be authenticating from the cookie (I ticked the "Remember Me?" box on login ages ago).

paranoid as I am I hardly ever save passwords on _any_ computer, choosing to rely heavily on password recovery instead. :/ (look how that turned out)
on a (semi?) related note, I am no longer receiving emails from thread subscriptions. I double checked my email and subscription preferences on the site, and found nothing amiss.

All good, I'm fairly sure I know what the problem is here. We're just waiting to receive the updated username/password for our webmaster email account so it can be put into vBulletin admin area. This is also the reason why the account activation emails aren't sending.

little bit off topic, but this comes up all the time and most people don't know.
If your using say firefox, you can store your passwords in a "keychain" (password management on PC's, keychaining is a mac thing) Its under security in your options. Allows you to keep your passwords quite safe. Just make sure to set the master password. You can even use something like a password generator and not have to worry about remembering a different password for each site. You could even keep the password list on a USB since it sounds like you are changing computers often. I have found it very helpful in the past when trying to remember old accounts. You might too.

also in firefox each time you click 'remember me on this site' or save password it actually stores them
go to tools > options > security > password manager > show passwords - shows user/pass/site for the ones you've told to remember |
